PARIS – On Wednesday, TotalEnergies (NYSE: TTE) CEO Patrick Pouyanne said he was closely monitoring Britain’s October 30 budget, and that potential taxes on oil and gas profits would be likely to have a serious impact on the company’s investments in the country.
Speaking to investors in New York, Pouyanne said such proposals would make the company “very selective” on any capex expansion in the future.
