Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) The Chief Election Commissioner was upset over the non-appearance of the petitioner in the petition filed to stop the announcement of Imran Khan’s victory in the by-election. A three-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan heard the case in which petitioner Ali Gohar did not appear before the Baloch Election Commission. Petitioner’s junior counsel appeared before the Election Commission and said that the petitioner was in Lahore and therefore could not appear. The Chief Election Commissioner expressed his displeasure at the petitioner’s non-appearance and said to tell the petitioner that if he does not appear at the next hearing, his petition will be rejected. Then, the Electoral Commission postponed the session to December 13.
