New Delhi: Getting worse Delhi the wind Air quality has hit rock bottom due to pollution. As per Friday’s count, the capital’s air quality index (Air Quality Index) was 453. This air is not suitable for breathing. The Delhi administration is struggling to deal with the situation. The Commission of Air Quality Management has decided to implement a four-tiered ‘Action Plan’ in view of deteriorating air quality in Delhi-NCR. In that case, the use of diesel vehicles with old engines is banned in Delhi-NCR. Only vehicles with BS-6 engines and in emergency service will be exempted from this ban. The administration has also banned the entry of trucks other than electric and CNG trucks into Delhi. However, trucks carrying essential goods like medicines will be exempted from this rule. Besides, factories which are not working on clean fuel have also been ordered to stop working. All schools in Noida have already been ordered to close. Schools have also been closed in Delhi.
