Bitfarms (NASDAQ: BITF) Stock Rallies Ahead of Nasdaq Closing Bell Ceremony

Bitfarms (NASDAQ: BITF) shares rose 3% on Monday after the global Bitcoin self-mining company announced it will ring the Nasdaq Closing Bell on January 30th.

Bitfarms (BITF) disclosed that its leadership team, headed by President & CEO Geoff Morphy, along with co-founders Nicolas Bonta and Emiliano Grodzki, is set to ring the closing bell at Nasdaq MarketSite located in New York’s iconic Times Square on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, at 4:00 pm ET.

At this event, Geoff Morphy said,

“We are honored to celebrate our listing on Nasdaq, which commenced in June 2021.”

He added,

“Achieving a dual-listing status has provided us access to a broader set of institutional investors and enabled us to increase trading liquidity. Ringing the closing bell highlights our 2023 ranking as the 8th top performing stock on Nasdaq, our transformational growth strategy, and our strong trajectory as Bitcoin and the mining industry gain industry adoption around the globe.”

The announcement follows Bitfarms’ recent land acquisition in Yguazu, Paraguay, for its new 100 MW production facility.

Earlier this month, the Canada-based company named Tracy Krumme as the Senior Vice President and Head of Investor Relations.
