CleanSpark (NASDAQ: CLSK) Stock Surges as Bitcoin Rally Continues

CleanSpark (NASDAQ: CLSK) stock rose almost 3% on Tuesday amidst Bitcoin’s upward momentum. The company also confirmed the successful acquisition of three bitcoin mining data centers.

Bitcoin catapulted beyond the $57,000 mark, marking its highest valuation in over two years. This surge, observed on Monday and further consolidated on Tuesday, is attributed to burgeoning demand fueled by the recent approval of spot exchange-traded Funds (ETFs) and anticipation surrounding the upcoming halving event in April.

Moreover, CleanSpark, a prominent player in the Bitcoin mining sector, announced on Tuesday the successful acquisition of three Bitcoin mining data centers in Mississippi. This strategic move instantly boosted CleanSpark’s operational hash rate to over 15 exahashes per second, with initial mining operations already underway.

Zach Bradford, the CEO of CleanSpark, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s expansion into Mississippi, stating,

“We are thrilled to start operating in Mississippi with our latest expansion. The teams have already racked miners, sending our fleetwide hashrate to over 15 EH/s, and we are hard at work as we sprint to add more hashrate as quickly as possible.”

He further emphasized the company’s commitment to community partnership.

“Expanding into a new state is an important milestone for our company and we are looking forward to partnering with the communities we are joining.”

CleanSpark’s investment in Mississippi follows its substantial commitment to energy infrastructure, miners, buildings, and job creation in the vicinity of its Georgia facility, amounting to over $700 million. The company aims to replicate this commitment in Mississippi, promising a similar level of care and attention to the local communities.
