ParaZero Technologies (NASDAQ: PRZO) stock surged more than 14% on Friday after the company announced its successful assistance in securing Denmark’s first Light Uncrewed Aircraft System Operator Certificate (LUC) for a client.
ParaZero Technologies (PRZO) aided a client in obtaining Denmark’s first Light Uncrewed Aircraft System Operator Certificate (LUC).
The Licensing and Authorization Certificate (LUC) is a certification granted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), an entity within the European Union (EU) tasked with overseeing civil aviation safety. This certificate enables the LUC holder to self-authorize cross-border flight operations throughout all EASA member states in the EU without requiring additional approvals. Moreover, the LUC holder can operate multiple UAS platforms with a single approval, significantly enhancing the efficiency of drone aerial services while ensuring safe operating conditions.
The LUC application process incorporated the ParaZero SafeAir parachute system, expanding the scope of advanced flight permissions. This includes sought-after authorizations for operations over people.
The ParaZero SafeAir is an autonomous UAS parachute recovery system designed to mitigate flight risks. Integrated sensors within the SafeAir system continually monitor and analyze drone flight patterns, promptly detecting any signs of critical failures. Upon activation, the SmartAir Pro™, ParaZero’s onboard computer, promptly engages the SafeAir system. This results in the drone’s power being cut, accompanied by an audible alarm alerting individuals on the ground. Simultaneously, a lightweight parachute is deployed, facilitating a secure and controlled descent of the drone to the ground.
