NatWest Group (NYSE: NWG), a British lender, said its online banking and mobile app services were working normally after a brief outage disrupted payments on Friday.
Several NatWest customers on Friday complained on social media platform X that they are unable to transfer money using the banking app.
There were more than 1,000 customer complaints on Downdetector, a website which monitors such outages, as of 0800 GMT.
NatWest’s service page, which had flagged issues with both its online banking and mobile app, including the ability to approve some online card purchases, said those services were working normally.
NatWest Group (NYSE: NWG) told customers on X that a resolution had been reached.
