Hyperscale Data (NYSE American: GPUS) shares surged more than 30% to $0.1640 during Friday’s regular trading session after the company reaffirmed its preliminary 2027 financial guidance and announced after Thursday’s market close that it had suspended Class A common stock sales under its at-the-market offering program.
The company maintained its consolidated revenue forecast of $300 million to $350 million and Adjusted EBITDA outlook of $60 million to $80 million for the year ending December 31, 2027. The company first announced the projections in August.
2027 Financial Outlook and Preliminary Q3 Revenue
Hyperscale Data expects to energize the first phase of AI computing capacity at its Michigan campus in December 2026, with revenue-generating activities expected to begin as the new capacity comes online.
Chief Executive Officer William B. Horne said the company’s operating forecasts support its reaffirmed guidance, citing efforts to deliver contracted capacity, secure development resources and meet operational milestones.
The financial outlook covers three operating platforms: data centers, AI infrastructure and robotics; lending, financial services and digital assets; and businesses operated through its hybrid private equity platform.
The latter two platforms operate under Ault Capital Group, a wholly owned subsidiary that Hyperscale Data expects to divest in 2027. The guidance therefore includes operations beyond its AI infrastructure business. The company did not specify how the expected divestiture date factors into its full-year consolidated guidance.
The company also reaffirmed its preliminary third-quarter revenue estimate of about $40 million, up roughly 64% from $24.3 million a year earlier. Defense revenue rose to approximately $12.4 million from $1.7 million a year earlier, partly reflecting the reconsolidation of Gresham Worldwide in November 2025. Higher contributions from crane operations, lending and trading, and blockchain-related software also supported the increase, while Bitcoin mining revenue declined.
The third-quarter figures remain unaudited and are subject to the completion of financial closing procedures and review.
The reaffirmed 2027 guidance remains preliminary and depends on assumptions about customer deployments, financing activities, digital asset initiatives and portfolio company performance.
Hyperscale Data also said it could not reconcile its projected Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP financial measure, to GAAP net income or loss without unreasonable effort. Certain potentially material components, including future interest expenses, taxes, impairment charges, and changes in financial instrument values, cannot currently be reasonably estimated.
GPUS Rebounds on Heavy Volume After ATM Offering Suspension
Friday’s rally ended a three-session losing streak that saw GPUS decline about 11.6%, from its Monday close of $0.1426 to $0.1260 on Thursday. The stock also touched a 52-week low of $0.1253 during Thursday’s session.
By 3:54 p.m. ET Friday, approximately 364.97 million shares had changed hands, nearly 13.5 times the stock’s 90-day average daily volume of 27.053 million shares.
Before suspending the offering, the company sold approximately 127.2 million shares through the program, raising $50.6 million in gross proceeds at an average price of about $0.3975 per share. ABBO News previously reported on GPUS share-count expansion following the company’s August reverse stock split. The offering operated under an agreement with Spartan Capital Securities, amended on October 9. Hyperscale Data said it may evaluate other capital markets options in the future.
