Airship AI (NASDAQ: AISP) Stock Explodes 200% – What’s Behind the Meteoric Rise?

Airship AI Holdings (NASDAQ: AISP) stock skyrocketed by 200% on Tuesday after securing a DOJ contract for its Acropolis platform.

Airship AI (AISP) revealed that it has secured a significant contract from an agency within the Department of Justice (DOJ) for its Acropolis Enterprise Sensor Management video and data management platform. The primary objective of this platform is to bolster public safety and investigative operations.

This contract signifies an extension of a pilot program initiated in 2023 and denotes the second U.S. Government agency opting to deploy Acropolis within a FedRAMP-certified cloud environment. FedRAMP, or the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, is a government-wide initiative that standardizes security assessment and authorization for cloud-based products and services.

Airship AI’s system allows the management of devices and sensors within digital ecosystems, offering seamless connectivity directly to the cloud or through the company’s Outpost AI Edge Appliance. The Outpost AI, built on the NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) Jetson platform, offers advanced analytics processing at the edge, along with video and metadata encoding and encryption.

Paul Allen, President of Airship AI, expressed his enthusiasm regarding the contract, stating,

“This award represents an expansion of a pilot program started with the agency in 2023, validating our ability to meet demanding agency operational and security requirements.”

Allen added,

“Equally as exciting is this project represents the second U.S. Government agency to deploy our Acropolis platform in a FedRAMP certified cloud environment, a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.”
