Disney and Warner Bros Launch Ad free Streaming Bundle for month

Disney and Warner Bros Launch Ad-Free Streaming Bundle for $30/Month

A streaming bundle comprising Disney+, Hulu, and Max services will be available in the United States from Thursday for a monthly price of $16.99 with ads, and $29.99 without ads, parent companies Walt Disney (NYSE: DIS) and Warner Bros Discovery (NASDAQ: WBD) said.

The bundle, plans for which were announced in May, would help customers save up to 38% compared to the cost of signing up for each of the streaming services separately, the companies said.

Media companies have been building out their streaming services amid widespread cord-cutting – where consumers ditch traditional cable packages in favor of internet-based services – flooding the market with dozens of individual options.

The deluge has led to customers complaining about having to purchase multiple subscriptions, prompting streaming platforms to team up and offer bundles at lower prices.

The Disney-Warner Bros subscription bundle offers movies and TV shows from Disney’s franchises including Star Wars and Marvel’s Avengers with Warner Bros’ HBO, Food Network, Discovery, and other cable channels.

Disney+ and Hulu are already available through a single app.

Earlier this year, Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) launched a new streaming bundle, offering its Peacock service with Netflix and Apple TV+ for $15 a month for its Xfinity internet and TV customers.
