WF Holding Limited (NASDAQ: WFF) shares plunged more than 30% to $0.0595 in Tuesday afternoon trading, hitting a new 52-week low after the Malaysia-based fiberglass-reinforced plastic manufacturer announced a 1-for-25 reverse stock split of its ordinary shares, effective Friday, October 30.
The company said its ordinary shares are expected to begin trading on a split-adjusted basis when Nasdaq opens Friday. The stock will retain its WFF ticker under a new securities identification number, G9627R123.
Reverse Split Will Reduce Ordinary Share Count by 96%
The consolidation will combine every 25 ordinary shares into one, reducing the number of shares subject to the split by approximately 96%.
WF Holding said its 145,957,934 ordinary shares will be reduced to approximately 5,838,318. The company’s 3,440,664 Class A ordinary shares will remain unchanged.
The par value of each affected ordinary share will increase from $0.00025 to $0.00625. Fractional share entitlements will be rounded up to the next whole share, while outstanding options, warrants, and other rights to purchase ordinary shares will be adjusted proportionately.
Shareholders holding stock through banks, brokers or other nominees will have their holdings adjusted automatically.
WFF Shares Erase Monday’s Gains Amid Heavy Trading
Tuesday’s selloff erased a 12.25% gain from the previous session, with WF Holding closing at $0.0898. The stock fell to a low of $0.0583 earlier Tuesday, below its previous 52-week low of $0.0625.
Trading volume was also elevated. By 03:51 p.m. ET, approximately 95.47 million shares had changed hands, nearly 3.9 times the stock’s three-month average daily volume of 24.45 million shares.
The planned consolidation will be WF Holding’s second reverse stock split this year. The company previously implemented a 1-for-5 reverse split on April 13 after receiving a Nasdaq notice in October 2025 for failing to maintain the exchange’s $1 minimum closing bid price requirement.
Nasdaq notified WF Holding on April 28 that it had regained compliance after its closing bid price remained at or above $1 for 11 consecutive business days.
WF Holding did not disclose a reason for the latest consolidation in Tuesday’s announcement.
