Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK) Stock Surges on Upbeat Q4 Results and Outlook

Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK) shares surged 28% on Friday after the cybersecurity firm announced fourth-quarter results that beat expectations. The rally followed strong subscription sales and a promising full-year forecast. 

In its fiscal 2025 fourth quarter, Rubrik posted an adjusted loss of $0.18 per share, narrower than the $0.39 per share loss expected by analysts polled by Visible Alpha. Revenue soared 47% year-over-year to $258.1 million, also topping forecasts.

Subscription revenue saw impressive growth, soaring 54% to $243.7 million. The company’s Subscription Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) jumped 39% to $1.09 billion. As of January 31, Rubrik had 2,246 customers with a Subscription ARR of $100,000 or more, marking a 29% increase compared to the previous year.

Co-founder and CEO Bipul Sinha called fiscal 2025 “a milestone year for Rubrik,” adding that, “We’re winning the cyber resilience market.”

Full-Year Guidance Beats Expectations

Looking ahead, Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK) forecasts a full-year adjusted per-share loss of $1.13 to $1.23, with revenue expected to range between $1.15 billion and $1.16 billion. In contrast, estimates from Visible Alpha had pegged the per-share loss at $1.25, with revenue at $1.10 billion.

Following the results, analysts revised their outlooks on the stock. Rosenblatt Securities raised its price target to $82.00 from $77.00, maintaining a Buy rating. Meanwhile, Mizuho Securities kept an Outperform rating but lowered its target to $75.00 from $82.00.

Since its debut last April, Rubrik stock has risen by over 80%, reflecting strong investor confidence.
