SoundHound AI (NASDAQ: SOUN) Stock Jumps Ahead of Nvidia GPU Tech Event

SoundHound AI (NASDAQ: SOUN) stock surged 16% on Friday after the company announced plans to attend the 2025 Nvidia GPU Technology Conference, which will take place from March 17 to March 21 in San Jose, California.

SoundHound AI intends to use the event to showcase its latest advancements in voice AI technology, including a new voice-controlled ordering system designed to allow drivers to make hands-free purchases while on the road.

Additionally, the company will demonstrate an in-vehicle assistant developed in collaboration with Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA). This feature aims to enhance the driving experience through voice-activated controls and assistance.

SoundHound AI will also present its dynamic drive-thru food ordering solution at Oracle’s booth during the conference. This system aims to streamline fast-food ordering with voice recognition technology.

This news follows SoundHound AI’s recent Q4 earnings report from last month. The company posted an earnings per share (EPS) of $-0.050, beating analyst expectations of $-0.090. Quarterly revenue reached $34.5 million, slightly above the consensus forecast of $33.74 million.

For FY 2025, SoundHound AI expects revenue to range between $157 million and $177 million, in line with the analyst consensus of $165.3 million.

Following the results, DA Davidson raised its price target on SoundHound AI (NASDAQ: SOUN) shares to $13.00, up from $9.50, while maintaining a Buy rating.
